Engineer's Advice

Post  Ashley Rushworth on Sun Nov 14, 2010 7:42 pm

Many people get confused by the advice the engineer gives them, especially for "brake bias". This is because it says "fore" and "aft" on the setup slider instead of the basic "higher" and "lower". Here is a list of all the advice that the engineer may give (from lowest to highest) and what has been found to be the average value of what they turn out to be.

Short = 24
Low = 24
Safe = 40
Medium = 48
Loose = 56
Stiff = 72
Hard = 72
High = 72

Please remember that this might not be 100% correct. It is merely a relatively close guess to what you can base the start of your set-up around Smile
